A 2-day pre-fermentation gives this dough a sharp sour flavor and aroma.  This bread uses a higher protein unbleach flour blend with a touch of whole wheat and wheat germ to nourish the yeast.  Weight is 1.75 lbs before baking.  Perfect for eating straight, mopping up soup or sauces, etc.

  • Baked Saturday Mornings in Ashland

    Our breads are currently baked late Friday night to be fresh on Saturday mornings at our Ashland bakery.  We accept pre-orders for pickup in our Ashland store on Saturday morning.  Orders can be taken to Framingham for Saturday evening or Sunday morning pickup.
