Artisan Breads - Baked Fresh & Ready for Saturday Pick-Up
We focus on traditional methods, fermenting at lower temperatures, using unbleached and unmodified flours, and baking directly on a stone hearth to bring out the best flavors, textures, and aromas.  We hope you love it as much as we do.

Artisan Breads

Please note that we currently only bake breads on Friday night.  Orders made on this page are pre-orders for the upcoming Saturday or Sunday.  Saturday pickup is only in Ashland even if the website offers Framingham.  We can often take bread to Framingham by Saturday evening, but we frequently have too many events to deliver them on Saturday morning.  Breads can be picked up Sunday as well, and they freeze and refresh well if you need them for later in the week.  Please call 508-881-1853 for availability during the week.

Why Artisan Bread?

Jules fell in love with bread on a trip to Europe shortly after finishing high school way back when back in 1987. Unable to find comparable breads where he lived, he eventually started reading and practicing until he was able to make his own and has been baking breads for himself and his family ever since. When opening the Dulce D Leche Bakery in Ashland, he determined to find a high quality oven with stone decks with the goal of baking artisan breads on a larger scale. In 2024, an opportunity arose and his youngest son, Ryan jumped in to help with recipe development and production scale-up.

We focus on traditional methods, fermenting at lower temperatures, using unbleached and unmodified flours, and baking directly on a stone hearth  to bring out the best flavors, textures, and aromas. We hope you love it as much as we do.
